About Me

Learn More About Me

I’ll be brief.

I have been many things in this life: machine operator, assembly line worker, retail salesman, administrative assistant, brother, uncle, father, partner. My roles have changed, but the one thing that I have always been is curious. I always wondered how things worked: machines, bikes, doorknobs, everything. I wanted to figure out how everything functioned, including people and the world around me.

At first I thought I was simply curious, then an overthinker. As an adult I thought it was just a coping mechanism, that I was just trying to find some kind of order in the chaos that was my life. Through deep inner work I now know it was all of the above, all connected to one core thing: Intuition. Knowing there is a deeper truth below the surface and seeing how things connect and interact with the world is what made me ask the questions. It is just the way I am wired.

I see things differently than most people, at least that is what I have been told. Initially I thought that meant I was weird, but after years of self-examination I have come to understand and accept that this is just how I am. Every person brings some gifts with them when they arrive here, and this is one of mine.

The downside is I never felt like I fit in anywhere. If I stayed quiet and blended in, I would be accepted, but I felt like I was betraying my true self. If I spoke about the things I could see: the real meaning behind a person’s actions, the truth below the surface of things, I would be judged as strange and usually avoided. I finally realized that my honesty and ability to see below the surface are unsettling to people who are not yet ready to leave the shallow end of the pool.

Acceptance — this is my current phase of life. Learning to accept myself and become what I always have been. I understand that I’m not for everyone, but that doesn’t mean there is something wrong with me. My people are out there, and they are drawn to authenticity. I will find them by being my true self. This Intuitive Coaching work is a huge part of that.
I recently completed training and became certified as both a Life Coach and a Health Coach. But that doesn’t mean our sessions will look like those with a standard life coach. We will not simply set weekly Action Steps and Goals and then check in on your progress. I will not be reading from a script or working from a workbook with scheduled steps.

My goal is to be me and help you become you. I can’t do that from a script or a prescribed order of operations. Every person walks a different path. So as far as what working with me will be like, the only things I know you can expect are curiosity and honesty.
